The mission of NAVTA is to represent and promote the profession of veterinary technology. NAVTA provides direction, education, support and coordination for its members, and works with other allied professional organizations for the competent care and humane treatment of animals.
New Jersey Veterinary Foundation
The New Jersey Veterinary Foundation (NJVF) assists veterinarians in celebrating the special relationship shared between people and animals, known as the human-animal bond. Over the years, the Foundation has developed animal welfare programs, supported various other existing programs that contribute to the well-being of animals and enhance the human-animal bond, and provided scholarships and loans to New Jersey veterinary students. The NJVF was established on May 20, 1975.

The American Veterinary Medical Association
The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), established in 1863, is a not-for-profit association representing more than 69,000 veterinarians working in private and corporate practice, government, industry, academia, and uniformed services. Structured to work for its members, the AVMA acts as a collective voice for its membership and for the profession.
