Kathy A Sylvester, Practice Manager

Kathy is a graduate of Cook College, Rutgers University, where she received an animal science/anthropology degree. A strong interest in veterinary dentistry drove her to pursue further her studies in this area, resulting in an expertise in this field. Kathy has written various articles on dentistry as well as authoring a chapter on the subject in a current veterinary textbook. She was also an adjunct professor at Bergen, Morris and Sussex Community Colleges, where she taught veterinary dentistry to tech students. She feels her organizational skills, compassion, and “many years” in the veterinary field  help her to be an effective Practice Manager. She tries to keep her staff motivated to practice the best veterinary medicine possible, offer superior customer service and stay current. Her leisure time is spent reading, decorating, sampling new wines, and traveling. Kathy shares her home in northern NJ with her husband, Rocco; her sons, Jim, Michael and Scott; as well as 2 pugs, Winnie and Alfie, and a parrot named Lucy.
