At Rutherford Animal Hospital we treat all types and species of pets. Many species make excellent pets, but please be sure to ask us about our recommendations for your specific family circumstances. We would be happy to discuss anything from the correct breed of dog, to the special care requirements of many exotic animals. New owners should know about the correct amount of exercise, diet, housing requirements, as well as the cost to maintain a pet. We will help you choose a companion that is right for you, and we even have great contacts for adopting an animal who needs a home.
